Engineering Intelligence Standards (EIS) Library

UAV Technologies Engineering Intelligence Standards (EIS) establish the technical framework used to develop consistent, defensible, and decision-focused intelligence products.

These standards define how UAV Technologies evaluates source data, conducts technical analysis, distinguishes observation from interpretation, assesses uncertainty and confidence, controls analytical quality, and communicates findings to customers. They are designed to ensure that conclusions remain traceable to the available evidence and that the strength of every claim is appropriate to the quality and limitations of that evidence.

The EIS framework applies across UAV Technologies' Engineering Intelligence services and provides a common foundation for Earth Observation analysis, geospatial assessment, multi-temporal change detection, aerial and UAV-derived data, infrastructure and environmental monitoring, and other technical intelligence applications.

Individual standards address specific elements of the Engineering Intelligence process, including analytical methodology, data quality and acceptance, technical review, reporting, and specialized analytical disciplines. Together, they provide a controlled and continually improving framework intended to promote:

  • Evidence-based engineering judgment

  • Traceability and reproducibility

  • Clear separation of observation, derivation, interpretation, and causal attribution

  • Explicit treatment of uncertainty and confidence

  • Fit-for-purpose data and analytical methods

  • Independent technical review and quality assurance

  • Transparent communication of limitations

  • Actionable, decision-focused reporting

UAV Technologies publishes applicable EIS documents so customers can understand the technical principles and quality controls governing the work referenced in our proposals, assessments, and Engineering Intelligence reports.

Current Engineering Intelligence Standards:

EIS-001 | Engineering Observation, Analysis, and Reporting Methodology
Establishes the overarching methodology governing how UAV Technologies develops, evaluates, reviews, and reports Engineering Intelligence.

EIS-002 | Earth Observation Data Quality and Acceptance Standard
Establishes the technical criteria used to determine whether Earth Observation data are suitable for screening, quantitative analysis, multi-temporal comparison, and Engineering Intelligence applications.

EIS-003 | Multi-Temporal Change Detection and Monitoring Standard

Governs how change is detected, quantified, validated, monitored, and reported

UAV Technologies Engineering Intelligence Standards are proprietary company standards developed to govern our technical work. Publication is provided for customer transparency and does not represent certification, accreditation, or endorsement by a government agency or external standards organization.
